Recessed wall luminaires

For surface-mounted or flush-mounted installation

Recessed wall luminaires are suitable for a wide range of requirements. They either create unshielded light points, bright illumination or orientation light, or they can provide flat beam illumination of the path or area in front of the installation point. We offer numerous variants for these functions, both in terms of appearance and light intensity. They can be installed in cavity walls, brickwork, concrete walls, or external wall insulation systems, or even flush with the surface, using the appropriate plaster frames. That gives this model series a maximum of flexibility. But that’s not all: The current recessed wall luminaires are also suitable for existing recessed housings from previous luminaire models. The refurbishment of existing systems becomes considerably easier.

The luminaires also feature exceptional technological expertise and top-quality components, which are designed for long-term operational reliability. Our decades of experience are reflected in the ongoing development of these recessed wall luminaires, making them distinctive structural details with exceptional product quality. You can choose between different light distributions and flush or surface-mounted installation.

Staircase
The pleasant illumination invites visitors to enter the building. The forecourt is arranged and structured by light building elements. The massive structure, for example a theatre, becomes accessible via a generously dimensional staircase entering the building. Most of the light in this area comes from the ceiling. Efficient floodlights guarantee imposing light and give the staircase and the entrance area a radiance that attracts the visitor. Recessed wall luminaires accentuate the structure. They follow the steps of the staircase and lead the visitor into the interior of the building. In order to be able to create suitable lighting scenarios for events, it is recommended that the lighting system should be fitted with a light control unit.

Train station forecourt
A forecourt of 40 x 20 m opens up in front of a station. This area is bordered by a low wall, which is interrupted by a staircase. This staircase is used to reach street level. Recessed wall luminaires are installed in the wall and in the steps of the staircase for orientation and guidance purposes. The forecourt is illuminated and at the same time structured by light building elements. These are positioned 10.75m apart, and guarantee good face recognition thanks to their uniform and rotationally symmetrical light. The degree of illuminance is between 10 and 20 lx.
