BEGA system light building elements are a modular luminaire range – illuminating design elements for public spaces. They are ideal for dividing and structuring outdoor spaces, as well as guiding pedestrians and vehicles. Their attention-drawing power is considerably greater than that of pole-top luminaires. Light building elements can be used to add architectural structure or create spectacular highlights.
A new version of the light building element head expands the range with a particularly soft light distribution. Several adjustable light sources are positioned in the luminaire head in an offset arrangement. This offset and the even distribution of the luminaire luminous flux reduces the luminance of individual light emissions, resulting in a pleasantly soft light effect. The light building element head is therefore particularly suitable for decorative illumination in squares, forecourts of public buildings – such as town hall squares – and paths in urban areas. The light distribution is optionally either symmetrical or asymmetrical flat beam. The asymmetrical light distribution can be precisely adjusted on site by rotating the reflectors – to suit the specific situation.
